Horrible mutant rattlesnake find | Chronic

A rare specimen of two-headed, two-tongue and two-paired wood rattlesnake was discovered at Pine Barrens (New Jersey, USA).

The young two-headed specimen, weighing 60 grams and of a length between 20 and 25 centimeters, was discovered by specialists from the Burlington County Herpetological Association.

Experts believe that the snake has a fully developed digestive system and can grow healthy if fed properly.

It is stated that two-headed snakes can live between 15 and 20 years in captivity, whereas they rarely survive in their natural habitat, as they generally move slowly, thus becoming easy prey for other predators.

It is an extremely rare natural phenomenon: about one in 100,000 snakes is born in freedom.
