Government confirmed "bridge holidays" for 2020 | Chronic

When there are still a few holidays to commemorate in 2019, the government is already thinking about the coming year and has decreed three "holiday bridge" for tourism purposes, which have been published in the Official Journal.

President Mauricio Macri, the chef de cabinet Marcos Peña and the Minister of the Interior, Rogelio Frigerio decree signed 717/2019 which establishes "on vacation for tourist purposes" March 23, July 10 and December 7, 2020.

As March 23 and December 7 fall on Monday and are before the holidays of March 24 (National Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice) and December 8 (Day of the Virgin), are included "bridge". While the 10th of July will be Friday, after the day of independence.

Under the law, the national executive power has the power to establish "up to three days of vacation or holiday to promote the tourist activity, which must coincide with the days of Monday or Friday".
