The images of a coronavirus patient died on the bathroom floor of a Naples Hospital, shocks Italy.
The man, who was in an area of the center reserved for people suspected of having the disease, was found dead by several workers, after finding that he had remained too long at the scene.
The unfortunate episode occurred in the Antonio Cardarelli Hospital of Npoles, who has already opened an investigation to determine the man’s cause of death.
After the patient’s death, a video began circulating on social media showing the man’s body on the ground. The author of the images – whose identity is unknown – took advantage of the fact that health workers left the man looking for a stretcher to place him to record.
“It is contemptible that events like this serve to construct terrible and dangerous suggestions in public opinion,” said hospital director Giuseppe Longo.
“Out of respect for the suffering of the family”, the health center launched investigations to identify the author of the images.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi di Maio, posted on your profile Facebook that the images of the patient found lifeless “are shocking. We are faced with dramatic and unacceptable events, episodes which push us to act as central government because there is no time.”
