UK surprises by lowering quarantine for those infected with covid

The health authorities of United Kingdom lowered today from 14 to 10 days quarantine than a person infected with covid-19 must comply to prevent the spread of disease.

The measure, which will come into force next Monday, will also apply to people who must self-isolate after visiting a country considered to be at high risk, according to the channel. BBC London.

The official announcement came amid a trend towards stabilization of patients.

During the day the Ministry of Health recorded 21,672 new infections, up from nearly 21,000 the day before.

Until, UK records 1,809,455 infections and 63,506 deaths, 424 more than Thursday. While 1,622 people had to be hospitalized today, there are therefore 16,136 inmates, 1,267 of whom need mechanical breathing.
