They hospitalized a young man after a serious accident in Cabrera

A motorist had to be transferred this afternoon to a hospital after crashing on Avenue Cabrera at 5:00 p.m. against a lamppost, according to official sources.

They said 24-year-old Tomás Agustín Redivo was driving a Citroën C4 Cactus on this avenue when, for unknown reasons, it struck a light fixture.

Witnesses said the young man apparently had a health problem as the vehicle – which came from the center – suddenly braked and then fully accelerated, changed lanes and landed against the column.

Redivo was taken to hospital by an emergency services ambulance. Still with a head injury, but conscious. The young man was even able to speak on his cell phone when he was being treated.

A patroller from the Patrol Command and Civil Defense Guard personnel also worked at the site.
