A 7-year-old girl has died, victim of abuse and mistreatment: “Don’t treat me, I don’t want to go back to my parents so that they continue to beat me” | the Chronicle

Yatziri, a 7 year old girl, died after being sexually abused and assaulted by his family. She was hospitalized for four months in an intensive care hospital.

His death generated a great stir in Mexico. Months ago, when she recorded her last hospitalization, she asked doctors to let her die: “Don’t cure me, I don’t want to go back to my parents so they can keep beating me.”

The news was confirmed by the Puebla government via its Twitter account. They had assumed the defense of the young girl, since the knowledge of the case in October 2020.

“We regret the sensitive death of the girl Yatziri and we reaffirm the commitment that the acts committed with the minor will not go unpunished”, they expressed.

On the other hand, the biological parents as well as the mother-in-law were arrested. The one who is still at large is an uncle, who sexually abused Yatziri.

The little girl had been hospitalized on previous occasions, where she suffered burns, loss of a lung and internal bleeding from the brutal beatings.

In her family, there was another death in suspicious conditions: Mitzi Aidé, Yatziri’s younger sister, who died in June 2020 at the age of three.
