And the government’s only initiative to implement a national immunization plan has been to have manufacturers deliver all their production of needles and syringes to the health ministry.

The argument about the need to create a distribution program did not convince anyone: it was clear that this was a new stage in the political war between President Jair Bolsonaro and the Governor of São Paulo, the former ally and now enemy João Doria, who ordered millions of instruments to vaccinate.

The measure was overturned by Ricardo Lewandovski, Minister of the Federal Supreme Court, the highest court in the country, who was particularly harsh in declaring that “the negligence of the federal government” cannot penalize the effectiveness of the government of São Paulo.

It is said that “in the coming days” the national vaccination schedule will be disclosed, but it is not known when.

In other words, it is confirmed that Bolsonaro and his government remain the same as what was experienced and seen last year.

At the table of the president of the Chamber of Deputies, there are at least 54 requests for the opening of a trial to dismiss Bolsonaro. Why were they not postponed? There’s no answer.

Lawyers say Bolsonaro has committed dozens of acts that constitute what the law calls “crimes of responsibility”. And nothing happens.

Following the invasion of the Capitol in Washington by fans fanaticized (and encouraged) by Donald Trump, his tropical emulator made the expected comment: he reiterated that Joe Biden had won thanks to a string of frauds, and warned that if in 2022 voting continued in Brazil Electronic fraud will also happen and what will happen will be “much worse than what happened in the United States”.

The response from politicians and members of the Federal Supreme Court has been vigorous and harsh.

Bolsonaro remained unchanged.

Meanwhile, the pile of deaths caused by presidential neglect continues to grow.
