Brazilian kindergarten teacher Soliane Luiza has died trying to take a selfie on rocks on Penha Beach, located in the northern state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
According to local media R7.com, the young woman fell about 5 meters after losing her balance.
Beach rescuers and a group of firefighters managed to get the young woman out of the water using a helicopter, although the strong winds and difficult location made rescue operations difficult.

The rescue team managed to revive her for a few minutes. However, Luiza suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest which ultimately cost her his life.
The young woman worked as a teacher in a nursery school, who mourned the death with a post on her Instagram profile: “Sol was an exemplary, dedicated, supportive and much loved teacher. He enchanted with his joy and illuminated with his light ”.
