Tragedy in Brazil: teacher wanted to take a selfie, fell off a cliff and died

Brazilian kindergarten teacher Soliane Luiza has died trying to take a selfie on rocks on Penha Beach, located in the northern state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

According to local media R7.com, the young woman fell about 5 meters after losing her balance.

Beach rescuers and a group of firefighters managed to get the young woman out of the water using a helicopter, although the strong winds and difficult location made rescue operations difficult.

The 28-year-old suffered drowning in grade 6, the most severe of all. Therefore, she had no vital signs at the time of her assessment.

The rescue team managed to revive her for a few minutes. However, Luiza suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest which ultimately cost her his life.
