A young American from Washington filmed herself hammering a message at her boyfriend’s house after learning he had cheated on her and posted the video on TikTok which quickly went viral.
In the photos, Ashley VanPevenage is seen with a hammer in her hand writing a message on the wall. Not satisfied with his revenge, with spray paint, he signed the message by writing “on behalf of your ex”.
The video ends with the girl, to the beat of Carrie Underwood’s hit song “Before He Cheats,” sending a kiss to the camera, as she proudly stands in front of the destroyed wall.
The recording reached over 15 million views and generated thousands of comments, most of them at odds with the actions of the angry girlfriend.
“Congratulations you just filmed yourself committing a crime,” wrote one TikTok user. “And here is, my friends, the girl you want to stay away from,” commented another. There were also many messages of support for Ashley such as: “Guys take note, don’t cheat.”
