A 9-year-old girl died three days after she tested positive for COVID19, it is Makenzie Góngora who She was in fourth grade at Evelyn Scarborough Elementary School in the US city of San Antonio.

Police sources confided that the parents of the minor came to pick her up from her face-to-face classes on Friday, January 29, after she had declared that she was feeling ill, and the same afternoon, the little girl was diagnosed with COVID-19 and on Monday night the girl died in bed.

“My sister had just put her at ease and later that night she went to see her and noticed that she had passed away in her sleep,” counted Victoria southworth, the girl’s aunt.

“We suspect this is related to covid-19 because we can’t find out what could have been the cause, but we won’t know until we receive the medical examiner’s report,” the family told local media.
