Infonavit: the advantages of the new law for acquiring your home

In the midst of dialogue with representatives of the labor, business and government sectors, the reform of the Infonavit law, thus the institute recalled what are the benefits of the initiative in favor of the workers of the country.

In addition, citizens who do not currently contribute, but have savings in their housing sub-account, can use this resource to obtain the required credit.

The Board of Directors of Infonavit will determine the maximum amounts of funding it will grant, the income of the workers, the sale of land, among others.

The Reform of the law proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador it was approved by the Union Congress and published in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) last December.

After various institutions can grant loans directly and without intermediaries, the Issste Housing Fund (Fovissste) recalled a few days ago, which is the platform that will guide and help the rightful owner to build his house.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), it will also have a series of questionnaires that will help determine whether people qualify for funding through institutions such as: the National Commission of housing (Conavi); the National Institute for Sustainable Soils (Insus); the Federal Mortgage Society (SHF); the Institute of the National Workers ‘Housing Fund (Infonavit) and the Housing Fund of the Institute of Social Security and State Workers’ Services (Fovissste).
