The Reform of the law proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador it was approved by the Union Congress and published in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) last December.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), it will also have a series of questionnaires that will help determine whether people qualify for funding through institutions such as: the National Commission of housing (Conavi); the National Institute for Sustainable Soils (Insus); the Federal Mortgage Society (SHF); the Institute of the National Workers ‘Housing Fund (Infonavit) and the Housing Fund of the Institute of Social Security and State Workers’ Services (Fovissste).
