Zahra was sentenced to death for killing her husband in self-defense, died of a stroke and was even hanged

The victim’s lawyer, Omid Moradi, denounced the incident on Friday, adding that he died of a fatal stroke before his execution. Further, she explained that the cardiac arrest took place after witnessing how 16 men were killed by hanging in front of her. The executions took place on Friday February 19, 2021 at the prison in the Iranian capital Tehran.

They hung her lifeless body, and the victim’s mother personally kicked her under her feet so she could see her stepdaughter’s corpse hanging down.Moradi wrote.

Zahra Esmail was convicted of murdering her husband, a high-ranking Intelligence Ministry agent who beat her and took women to his home, where he was seen by his own family. For this reason, she had murdered her husband in self-defense. Esmaili had two children.
