Javier Corral, governor of Chihuahua for him STOVE and member of Federalist Alliance, denied that the so-called “rebel governors” met the same criteria regarding the intention to Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, governor of Tamaulipas (PAN) allegedly responsible for various crimes.

In this sense, Corral Jurado assured that what was declared by the governors in favor of Cabeza de Vaca is in a personal capacity and that the subject discussed during their meeting held this Friday, February 26 in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, was mainly the National Accord for Democracy proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Indeed, during the meeting of governors belonging to the AF, Miguel Riquelme, governor of Coahuila for him PRI, said that “without a doubt” the alliance supports Cabeza de Vaca in the face of the demand of Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) to withdraw his competence as governor and initiate proceedings against him for his alleged participation in criminal operations with resources of illicit origin, organized crime and equal tax evasion.

“We support our comrade Cabeza de Vaca, without a doubt, and we hope this is not the prelude to an assault on members of the Federalist Alliance”, said Riquelme Solís during his participation in the forum convened by the AF as a brotherhood established by 10 governors.

In the same act, he regretted the likelihood that Mexican judicial institutions could be used as a tool of political control and considered that this could be part of a plan whose purpose is to influence the votes that will take place on the 6th. June.

“I made it clear how unfortunate it would be to use law enforcement institutions as tool for political submission of federative entities. The media exposure is given before this meeting, which is being held here in Monterrey, and before the electoral process, ”he added.

From this point of view, the governor of Coahuila said it adds to the discourse that “divides the country” by creating a “convulsive” environment and that “Political reason, in this government, is above legal reason”; however, even in FA they do not fully agree: they are divided. Well, Javier Corral wasn’t the only one to say that the protests of support for Cabeza de Vaca are personal, because Enrique Alfaro, governor of Jalisco, also stands out from the governor of Tamaulipas.

Through social networks, Alfaro Ramírez expressed that Alejandro Gertz Manero, head of the FGR, is an official of high moral quality who would not play an electoral game.

“I will always defend the idea that the law must be applied without distinction. I believe that prosecutor Gertz Manero is a serious man who would not lend himself to the political use of the institution he presides over. I hope this issue will be resolved with due respect for legality and the rule of law, ”he posted on his official Twitter account on February 26, the day of the FA meeting, at which Alfaro did not did not attend.

Alone, the governor of Tamaulipas organized a rally in Ciudad Victoria to cry out his innocence. Hundreds of García Cabeza de Vaca supporters attended, who said He will not decline even if he is attacked, slandered or slandered.

“Faced with the onslaught of this government, I tell you all: you can continue to attack me, slander, slander, but let them know and know well Here, nobody gives up! Let’s show what we’re made of in Tamaulipas!Said the member of the National Action Party.
