“Due to new entry restrictions in some countries and greater uncertainty for our travelers due to Covid-19, we have adjusted our routes,” Avianca said in a statement.

However, this is a temporary measure as the company announced that routes will be resumed depending on the evolution of the pandemic, in some cases during the first semester and in others during the second semester, specifying that, for the moment, said connections will not be closed indefinitely and in some cases, they will resume from April.

Since there are travelers who had already purchased the tickets in advance, the airline said that the passengers concerned will be able to change their itinerary or their itinerary to a common point without charging a penalty or fare difference.
