The ship Karim Allah left in December from the port of Cartagena, in Spain, to Turkey, where the cattle had to be sold.
However, after crossing the Mediterranean, Turkish authorities have rejected the animals fearing bluetongue.
Libya also opposed on landing and the calves met in Cartagena, two months later.
Both the Spanish government and those responsible for the sector they deny that the cattle suffer from the disease.
Even so, after a veterinary inspection on board, the authorities ordered the slaughter of the 800 calves.
As if one ship was not enough, another, Elbeik, with around 1,800 calves on board, also returns to Spain after falling on identical rejection by the Turkish and Libyan authorities.
Between the two ships there are approximately 2,700 animals.
