“Cheat alert”: a city suspended by posters against an unfaithful man

In the town of Oldham, Manchester, in England, appeared on Saturday morning many strange handwritten posters on A4 size sheets denouncing the actions of a man who cheated on his wife.

There were so many messages, posted in different parts of the city, that locals were perplexed, according to the local Manchester Evening News.

“Cheater alert”says one of these posters, the author of which, so far, is unknown. But this was only one of those opinions that appeared, in the field of Glodwick and Alexander Park of the aforementioned town, located in the Greater Manchester.

In this district of Oldham, trees, streetlights, lanterns, garbage cans and even car windshields woke up with many of these patterned papers.

The posts are named after the street where the potential cheater would live, and then the captions vary in one way or another, but always with the same meaning. “Unfaithful husband”says one of the posters. “Serial deceiver. Soon you will be revealedAdded another of the writings.

“Do you know where your husband is tonight?” What about last night? What about last week? Asked another of the intimidating messages, which was posted on the park bench.

But perhaps the most intriguing poster, and one that promises the affair won’t end in this series of papers pasted around the neighborhood, is the one that contains some of the letters in the supposed’s name. unfaithful.

The appearance of notices created intrigue among the locals, but it is also believed to have left one man in particular concerned: the recipient of the messages who, until now, remain anonymous.
