Argentina joins Earth Hour: what is this event about?

Organized by The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the event takes place on the last Saturdays of March and seeks to demand that the world’s highest authorities take action to preserve the planet as we know it.

Wildlife foundation, the entity that has been promoting the initiative in the country since 2009, will organize a virtual event on its Facebook profile as a preview of what will happen from 8:30 p.m. in the country and in other parts of the world such Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Basilica of San Pedro from the Vatican or Coliseum in Rome.
