After a few weeks of application of the fiscal stimulus to the Premium gasoline, From this Saturday it will be left without this support, so drivers will have to pay the full special tax on production and services (IEPS).

The decision to withdraw it, after four weeks of application of the subsidy, was taken by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), due to falling oil prices on international markets.

The determination was even recorded in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF), so now consumers will pay the Full IEPS fee of 4.31 pesos per liter.

It should be remembered that in Mexico, a tax is levied on the gasoline consumed, that is to say Special tax on production and services (IEPS) Federal, which is determined by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, based on the exchange rate, international benchmark oil prices and logistics costs.

While for him Diesel.– The stimulus that it will manage for the same period will be 7.6%, ie less than the 21.56% which had been determined during the previous period. In this case, the drivers will pay 5.19 pesos per liter.
