A Review judge ruled on unofficial preventive detention against quartermaster employee for allegedly sexually assaulting woman of the elderly at the general hospital “Dr. Fernando Quiroz Gutiérrez ”from the Institute of Social Security and State Worker Services (ISSSTE).

According to the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX), the decision was taken during the initial hearing with the alleged culprit, identified as Mario Alberto “N”.

Within it, the public prosecutor of the Sex Crimes Investigation Bureau laid the charge. The defendant’s defense asked for the duplicity of the constitutional term, so the hearing will resume next week.

Mario Alberto “N”, allegedly sexually abused the woman, who is intubated to suffer from COVID-19, at dawn last Sunday. The crime was recorded in one of the cabins in the COVID zone of the hospital located in the office of the mayor of Álvaro Obregón.

In this case, it was her daughter who noticed that the door to the house was open, and when she entered, she saw her mother. According to early reports, Melesia I would have been sexually assaulted and later beaten to death.

In the afternoon of Monday March 22, the FGJCDMX, has opened an investigation file for the crimes of femicide and the corresponding investigations have been opened.
