They granted preventive detention to a man who raped a 75-year-old woman intubated at the ISSSEE

A Review judge ruled on unofficial preventive detention against quartermaster employee for allegedly sexually assaulting woman of the elderly at the general hospital “Dr. Fernando Quiroz Gutiérrez ”from the Institute of Social Security and State Worker Services (ISSSTE).

According to the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX), the decision was taken during the initial hearing with the alleged culprit, identified as Mario Alberto “N”.

Within it, the public prosecutor of the Sex Crimes Investigation Bureau laid the charge. The defendant’s defense asked for the duplicity of the constitutional term, so the hearing will resume next week.

Mario Alberto “N”, allegedly sexually abused the woman, who is intubated to suffer from COVID-19, at dawn last Sunday. The crime was recorded in one of the cabins in the COVID zone of the hospital located in the office of the mayor of Álvaro Obregón.

The employee was discovered by two nurses at the hospital and the case was recorded in the investigation file FDS-7-03 / 0255 / 04-2021 of the city attorney general’s office (FGJCDMX). The crime he was initiated into was rape.

It was reported that at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, nurses who were on duty in the emergency room observed through a window as he held sexually assaulted a 75-year-old intubated patient.

One of them called the security personnelwhile the other grabbed his cell phone and recorded the moment of the assault. Doctors said hospital officials tried to cover up what had happened, but ultimately failed to do so.

They also told journalist Carlos Jiménez that despite the fact that no one else was guarding the area, at that time the hospital was supposed to have watch nurses and security personnel.

Hospital workers assume that the way the subject acted was not the first time he did so.

During the last 3 days of March, two elderly women were sexually assaulted and murdered in the municipalities of Miguel Hidalgo and Milpa Alta, the two victims were found inside their respective houses, with traces of sexual violence.

Saturday On March 20, a family had a similar experience: Melesia “N”, 72, was found at her home., in the municipality of Milpa Alta. In this case, it was her daughter who noticed that the door to the house was open, and when she entered, she saw her mother. According to early reports, Melesia I would have been sexually assaulted and later beaten to death.

In the afternoon of Monday March 22, the FGJCDMX, has opened an investigation file for the crimes of femicide and the corresponding investigations have been opened.
