Nine years in prison for a woman for sexual abuse, assault and ill-treatment inflicted on her domestic workers

Five victims were subjected to sexual relations in a “climate of fear and anguish” and in working conditions that violated their rights at work and their freedom. Several of the immigrant women were locked up throughout the working day and threatened with the installation of security cameras.

According to the prosecution, the couple gained the confidence that the victims would go to the home of the “employer” and under deception or threats, “they committed acts of a sexual nature”.
