Vegans call for ban on animal-shaped cookies – News

The cute and friendly shaped cookies are popular in the food industry to encourage children to consume them.

However, there is a French vegan association that is against this worldwide practice.

It’s about Vegan society, who considers that the consumption of food in the form of animals promotes a feeling of superiority over other living things.

For those in charge of the organization, the fact of eating food which, although it is not composed of animal matter, is shaped like a lion or a bear, generates offensive behavior.

As they explained, this cultural practice is “not very respectful of the fauna and the environment”.

The organization advocates a ban on all cookies shaped like animals, including those classified as “vegan” and without ingredients of animal origin.
