The death rate from the coronavirus in Brazil is 175 per 100,000 inhabitants, while the incidence rate stands at 6,582 per 100,000 inhabitants.

The worsening of the pandemic in the country has left a large part of the hospitals in ruins or on the edge of it, since, in addition to the lack of available beds, the Brazilian health network suffers from a shortage of equipment for the intubation of critically ill COVID-19 patients.

The government of President Jair Bolsonaro plans to distribute new batches of drugs this weekend to relieve pain for patients, but they are still insufficient to meet the high demand.

Spain maintains quarantine of travelers from 12 countries, including Brazil

Spain will maintain at least until May 3 the mandatory 10-day quarantine for travelers from Brazil, Peru and Colombia, as well as nine African countries, to prevent the spread of new variants of the coronavirus.

The order comes into effect this Saturday and involves the third extension of this measure created by the Spanish Ministry of Health on March 2.

The measure establishes that people arriving by plane from any airport in Brazil, Peru and Colombia or South Africa, Botswana, the Union of the Comoros, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe must maintain a quarantine for ten days after your arrival. or throughout your stay in Spain if it is less than this period.
