The head of the National Academy of Medicine of Venezuela recalled that the World Health Organization (WHO) says there are no preventative drugs for COVID-19.

Maduro defends the effectiveness of Carvativir, an oral solution derived from thyme that would neutralize the coronavirus without side effects, a claim without scientific support. Also, the dictator guarantees that Carvativir can be used preventively and therapeutically.

For its part, Carvativir also reigned Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), an organization which requested that the results be published on the “miraculous gothic” proposed by Maduro.
