Israel attacked Hamas positions in Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Saturday attacking positions of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip in response to the launch of dozens of rockets from the enclave.

The confrontation is the largest between Israel and the Gaza Strip in months and took place hours before Hamas carried out a series of protests in the Gaza Strip against Thursday’s incidents in Jerusalem, according to the report. ‘Times of Israel’.
