Traveling Abroad Amid Restrictions: What Flights Are Allowed For The Next Two Weeks

Due to the restrictions and the health situation, Aerolineas Argentinas announced this Friday the suspension of its operations to Punta Cana and Cancun between May 16 and August 31 inclusive. And the cancellation of flights in May and June to Rio de Janeiro and Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

In the case of Brazil, the company has confirmed that it will maintain connectivity from São Paulo, via special flights, for Argentines who are due to return to the country. Passengers to and from Bolivia will be transferred to other flights operated in the neighboring country.

For the change of tickets, the company will apply the current commercial policy and passengers affected by the restrictions will be able to change tickets free of charge until December 15, 2021, as detailed. Meanwhile, passengers who have purchased their plane ticket from travel agencies and other channels must perform change management through them.

Which international flights have been approved for the next few weeks?

Argentine airlines: Currently, the company operates two weekly flights to Madrid (there will be three as of May 10); six weekly flights to Miami; a weekly flight to Bogotá, which will drop from 330 to Boeing 737, so it will have a reduction of seats. And a weekly flight to Lima, San Pablo, Santiago de Chile and Asunción.

LATAM: The flights approved for the first half of May are as follows:

May 6: Sao Paulo – Buenos Aires – Sao Paulo

May 13: Sao Paulo – Buenos Aires – Sao Paulo

May 7: Santiago de Chile – Buenos Aires – Santiago de Chile

May 14: Santiago de Chile – Buenos Aires – Santiago de Chile

May 3: Lima – Buenos Aires and May 4, Buenos Aires – Lima

May 5: Lima – Buenos Aires and May 6, Buenos Aires – Lima

May 10: Lima – Buenos Aires and May 11, Buenos Aires – Lima

May 12: Lima – Buenos Aires and May 13, Buenos Aires – Lima

Air France: It will fly between Buenos Aires and Paris on May 3 and 10. It leaves Buenos Aires at 1:30 p.m. and arrives in Paris at 7:40 a.m. And from Paris to Buenos Aires, Friday May 7 and Friday May 14. He left Paris at 11:55 p.m. and arrived in Buenos Aires at 8:40 a.m.

KLM: It will operate flights between Buenos Aires and Amsterdam on May 5, 7 and 12. Departure from Buenos Aires at 11:10 am and arrival at 5:20 am. Lufthansa: It has approved flights from Buenos Aires to Frankfurt for May 10 and 15. And a special flight for May 1st.
