Mexico: their son was denied access to a toy kitchen and his response changed their minds

Like his relatives or, perhaps, influenced by one of the many reality show that exist, a child told his parents he wanted a kitchen toy. After trying to discourage this wish, the little one gave them an answer that made them change their minds.

A boy from the town of Luis Río Colorado, in the Mexican state of Sonora, surprised his parents with a response that was as firm as it was convincing. It all happened after the little boy asked for a toy kitchen.

From a more traditional perspective, the parents advised her to choose another toy because they considered that “kitchens are more suitable for girls”. Without hesitation, the little one gave convincing reasons for his choice: “I don’t wanna be a girl, I wanna be a boss“.

Astonished by the response, the parents understood their son’s message and finally bought him the toy. And even better: they decided to share the story through the kindergarten Facebook account you attend.

“Today a mother sent us this photo of one of our students and comments: ‘My son asked me for a little kitchen and my husband and I said to him, are you sure? A little kitchen is for girls, my love. The boy replied firmly: “ I don’t want to be a girl, mom I want to be a chef“. 10 days after it was posted on the social network, the post went viral. It was shared nearly 182,000 times, added over 40,000 likes and generated a lot of debate in the comments.
