After several weeks of national strike and demonstrations in the main cities of the country, roadblocks and mobility problems persist in some regions, significantly affecting dozens of travelers and workers, who depend on their vehicles for a living because they cannot easily move from one place to another.

In the midst of this situation, famous model and businesswoman Elizabeth Loaiza turned out to be one of those affected. As La Caleña denounced via her social media, she was trapped in a blockade as she moved along a highway, so decided to confront the demonstrators to demand that they end the blockades.

In a 13-minute video he uploaded to his Instagram account, Loaiza showed the moment when the vehicle he was traveling in was intercepted by two motorcycles blocking his way, also causing a traffic jam on the road. . “It’s not peaceful, it’s not peaceful”, that’s what the model hears before deciding to get out of the car to try and find out what was going on.

Once outside, and without using your mask to prevent covid-19, the businesswoman started asking motorcyclists to let her pass she and the other people who started to line up from their cars. However, two of these people told him that apparently one of his companions had been run over by a passing car and that is why they decided to move there.

Despite explanations and reasons from both sides, no agreement was reached. On the contrary, the situation became more tense and many more people gathered, generating chaos in the place. Everything was recorded in the video of Elizabeth Loaiza, which in turn was accompanied by a message that sparked controversy among followers of the Cali model.

“Yes to unemployment, no to the blockades that end lives and jobs. I agree with people who fight for their rights, especially people with limited resources who have not had many opportunities for work or studies. But they should know that the government, which in this case is the mother and father of these people, does not have a little machine that produces money to pay for expenses that the mother and father do not have to. pay, ”he wrote.

In addition to these words, Loaiza said that, as he believes, the crisis the country is going through is not only caused by “the politicians who rule it” but because “Some of the people who defend their rights do so without measuring the consequences”.

“It is not enough to have the right, you have to do it knowing the limits. I agree that people who believe they have a right claim it. But, without going back on the rights of others, ”added the businesswoman.

These statements have prompted some users to criticize the Cali model that “she has no empathy” with others, in addition to recommends that you do not express your political opinions online because it will be clearly criticized and will cause controversy.
