Mystery and horror in Spain: they find the body of a man inside a dinosaur statue

MADRID (AFP) .- Spanish police are investigating the body appearance of 40 year old man inside dinosaur statue in the town of Santa Coloma de Gramanet, near Barcelona. As reported this Tuesday by the Catalan security forces, the person died after being trapped in circumstances that have not yet been clarified.

“The causes that led this person to enter the decorative Stegosaurus, which he could not get out of, are unknown.” said a spokeswoman for the Mossos d’Esquadra. According to the informant, “everything indicates an accidental death”, since no evidence of criminality was found at the scene.

The local 20 Minutes portal detailed that the body was found on Saturday inside one of the legs of the Jurassic statue, a decorative element that belonged to certain closed cinemas nearby. Those who discovered the body were a father and son, who were playing there, and immediately notified authorities.

“We went to the scene and saw that a dead man was inside the dinosaur,” the Mossos d’Esquadra confirmed to the local press. Faced with this scenario, three teams of firefighters moved to the area and they had to cut one of the legs sculpture to be able to remove the body.

According to the sources of the case, investigators so far manage two main hypotheses. On the one hand, they believe that man may have entered the dinosaur to sleep. On the other, they are considering the possibility that he entered the statue to retrieve an object, like a cell phone, then he could not get out.
