Xuxa’s daughter Sasha Meneghel married her best friend and had a lavish ceremony by the sea

The weekend Sasha Meneghel, the daughter of Xuxa, he got married. The 22-year-old said ‘yes I do’ with the gospel singer João Figueiredo. The couple, who went through the civil registry on May 14, celebrated it with an imposing ceremony by the sea in Angra dos Reis, 150 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro. The child singer accompanied her at all times and was visibly moved.

The model posted several postcards of the celebration on her Instagram account. In one of them you can see her with her mother and father, Luciano Szafir. Due to current health protocols in Brazil, a country heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic, during the ceremony only the closest relatives of the couple could be present.

The party was held in a room facing the sea and had an exclusively vegan catering service, as Sasha and Xuxa do not consume animal products.

The young woman, who is also a photographer, has designed her own wedding dress: a strapless dress with a marked waist, a lightly armed skirt and a train. She wore her hair down and wavy with a small flower detail interspersed throughout the head.

The groom wore an elegant suit which he combined with a matching shirt. He did not wear a bow or tie, but preferred a more casual look, in tune with the place.

“I married my best friend. I will spend the rest of my life smiling by your side. I promise to love and care for you forever, ”the bride wrote in a social media post.

Her new husband, for his part, defined the moment as the happiest day of her life and told Sasha: “I thought it was impossible to love you more… I was wrong”.

After the ceremony, Xuxa emotionally shared a series of photos of her smiling daughter on Instagram and expressed, “Your happiness is mine, may God give you more and more moments of full happiness. I love you infinitely”.

Sasha and João started to be close friends and at the end of 2019 they started a relationship, which they made official in April 2020. In February of this year, they announced on their social networks that they had decided to go further and get married.
