Expectations rise for US intelligence report

Are aliens watching us? The company hopes to get an answer when, next month, it reaches the United States Congress Report on Government Secret UFO Files, after years of observations and videos that they suggest that in fact there are some very advanced beings.

But the report of the director of national intelligence, in which classified military files are gathered, might not explain dozens of incidents reported over decades in which unidentified flying objects were allegedly involved.

While keeping the alien theory open, Pentagon officials make it clear that their real target is if UFOs, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) in American military parlance, they represent a real threat to the Earth.

As the filing date approaches, expectations about the report rise even if only A reduced version of the report will be made public, while a more detailed version will remain secret.
CBS “60 Minutes” TV Interview US Navy pilots who said they saw craft flying faster and they were more agile than any other show before.

Officials with access to confidential information investigated the mystery.
“What is true, and in fact I think so, is that there are images and recordings of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are, ”said former President Barack Obama at “The Late Late Show” on May 17th.
“There are a lot more sightings than has been made public,” John Ratcliffe, who was director of national intelligence for the last eight months of the Donald Trump administration, told Fox News in March.
There are cases in which we have no explanation for some of the things we’ve seen. “

– Drones, party balloons

Last year, the US Department of Defense released three black and white videos recorded by Navy pilots in which UFOs appear to be seen.

The pilots express their astonishment for what they see and they offer no explanation.
For the department, however, It’s not about aliens, but technological equipment created by American rivals unknown to pilots.

In August, the Pentagon formed a task force “to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that may pose a threat for the national security of the United States. “
But the army does not want to reveal the results of its investigations internal because it hopes to protect its own business, as well as its technology and intelligence.

If the NAPs come from a potential adversary, the working group does not wish to provide information to avoid giving details about what is known or unknownsaid a Pentagon official.
This leaves many “unexplained” incidents, at least for the public.

However, officials said many UFO sightings can in fact be objects that increasingly invade airspace: weather balloons, metallic party balloons, drones amateurs and professionals.

In addition, there are many variables that affect what pilots think they see: your own speed, reflections of the sun, weather and other circumstances. A pilot flying over the ocean might think that an object is moving at an extreme speed and in fact is moving as slowly as a car.

In addition, observations could also come from classified experiments and prototypes themselves of the Pentagon.
“The Ministry of Defense takes raid reports very seriously in our airspace – by any plane, identified or not – and investigate every one of them, ”said Sue Gough, spokesperson for this portfolio.
“As we collect more data, we hope to bridge the gap between identified and unidentified people and avoid strategic surprises with regard to the technology of the adversary, ”he said.

– “We just don’t know”

The problem is that some of the incidents are technology that the United States does not have but that either China or Russia does.
“If someone tries to identify how we train and how we fight, this gives them an advantage“said the Pentagon official.

Luis Elizondo, who worked at the Pentagon investigating UFOs, told ABC News “This Week” Sunday that some of the objects that have been sighted “may surpass all That we have”.
“We know that everything in our skies is real. The question is, what is it?”, He said.
“The conclusion is that we just don’t know“.
