A 3-degree earthquake was recorded near Lanín volcano, but the green alert remains

A magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded last night 6.6 km north-northeast of the Lanín Volcano's main crater. As reported by SERNAGEOMIN, the event took place around 22:11 and was only seen on the Chilean side.

From the observatory, they added that the event was badociated with rock fracturing (volcano-tectonics).
