A man from the state of California, United States, was arrested for beating to death the daughter of her four-year-old friend, who had Down syndrome. According to a statement from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department, Adam Hughes, 24, was taking care of his girlfriend's children at his home in the 10,000-room Kernwood Court block in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday night when Kylee Willis, the A four-year-old girl put the man angry because she "bothered" him.
Local authorities wrote that the man, Hughes, had brutally beaten the 4-year-old girl with Down syndrome and then had her asleep. Adam Hughes, 24, was charged with murder and willful cruelty to the girl after the beating that he inflicted on Kylee Willis, who was only 4 years old and who had Down syndrome.
Hughes was taking care of his girlfriend's children, Corinne Blake (pictured below), when Hughes would have become furious with the girl. After having beaten her, Hughes laid her down to fall asleep.
When the woman, the girlfriend of this man, went home, she found her daughter Kylee without answering. By this time, the baby's fingers and lips had turned blue. Hughes then called his girlfriend and baby's mother, Corinne Blake, who dialed 911 just before 8pm.
Paramedics transported the four-year-old girl to the San Antonio Medical Center. From there she was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment for a serious head injury. The baby died of severe head trauma a few days after the beating.

Hughes and Blake were both initially arrested on charges of willful cruelty to a child, but after the death of his 4 year old son, the boyfriend was charged with murder. He is currently being held without bail, pending his next court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.
The woman, Blake, was released Thursday after posting a bond. According to her Facebook page, Blake works as a cashier and has four children: two boys and two girls. She and Hughes have been dating for two years and have committed in May of last year.
