A boy was dragged through the air by a huge kite – News

After getting entangled in the rope of the kite which was passing him about three times, IR (as the boy became known) was lifted into the air and fell several feet high on a field near a school .

According to witnesses, a very strong wind was blowing on the day of the accident, all factors leading to the incident.

IR’s older brother Acil said the little boy held the rope after another boy ran the kite until it soared into the air.

He added that his brother always used to let himself be lifted a few inches off the ground.

After what happened, local authorities urged children to only throw kites of the appropriate size.

The young man has had two surgeries and is recovering from his injuries.
