Amanda Andrade Maturana, a popular YouTuber known as “Amanda da 160“, died when he crashed his recently purchased motorbike while trying to flee from the police after a raid on a party and an illegal competition in which he participated.

The incident occurred on Friday in the city of Londrina, in the state of Paraná, in southern Brazil. According to sources consulted and published by the British newspaper The sun, the officers arrived at the underground event and the participants began to disperse in the middle of the square. The Silver Lightning project was born twelve years ago. The first model had 12 kW of power, but the force increased by 100 times to reach today the 1,200 kW, a figure that has allowed it to position itself as the fastest quarter-mile electric motorcycle in history. Watch the video.

The bike was put to the test on the track at Santa Pod Raceway, England, as around 5,000 people watched the event titled “Not the Euro Finals”.

During the first six attempts, the Silver lightning did not exceed the 6.94 second mark which had been the record since 2012. On the seventh attempt, pilot Hans-Henrik Thomsen managed to complete the quarter mile in 6.87 seconds, with a final speed of 307 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 in less than a second.

In an eighth attempt, and in order to further improve this performance, the team decided to increase its power. The result was bad: the rear wheel of the motorcycle skidded.

On the ninth and final attempt the decision was to lower the tire pressure to gain grip and this time the result was very good: they improved the count in the seventh race thanks to a record of 6.86 seconds.
