A local owner therefore shot a criminal from behind | the Chronicle

The owner of a Mobile phone shop shot dead criminal during an armed robbery, while on the run. It happened in a Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The premises surveillance camera captured the entire footage in which the the thief pretended to be a customer and started talking to the owner. When the store was empty, the assailant took the opportunity to shoot a gun and threaten to kill his victim to steal him.

However, when the criminal wanted to escape with the stolen money, the business owner he took out his own gun and shot him in the back. Authorities said the store owner your firearm is legally registered.

The thief fell to the ground after receiving two gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital, where he had an operation. The event happened on Wednesday March 31. According to local media, the life of the criminal is not in danger and he remains in the custody of the Brazilian police.

Also, hours later officers reported also capturing the accomplice of the injured thief, who at the time of the assault was on the street on a motorcycle, waiting for his partner to leave to flee.
