A man who attacked Pelican Florida has already been arrested by the Maryland State Police

Maryland State Police arrested a man who posted a video on his Facebook account, where he seems to jump on a pelican, animal protected by the authorities.

The Maryland State Police notified the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, who arrested a man for abusing a protected pelican in the Florida Keys.

William Hunter Hardesty, 31, of Riva, Maryland, was arrested Friday morning for an order from the Florida Wildlife and Fisheries Commission who accuse him of: a charge of intentional feeding of pelicans, two counts of violation of the Migratory Birds Treaty and two counts of cruelty to animals.

He is currently being held as a fugitive at the Worcester County Detention Center in Maryland.
