Rosario Reading Week is celebrating its tenth anniversary and celebrating the concept of "The reading professions". As a result, the activities will be expanded from today to Saturday, April 27, and will offer a tribute to library workers, publishers, bookstores, reading advocates, and those who translate, illustrate, edit and correct, tell and write. The big week will end with a new edition of the traditional Nuit des Librairies.
As part of the Week of Reading will take place the much anticipated Night of the Bookstores, which will take place Friday from 18 hours. More than 20 bookstores in the city extend their hours until midnight to celebrate reading with a varied offer that includes live readings, shows and promotions.
In San Martín and Córdoba will be gathered the exhibition of independent publishers and old and used virtual libraries, with attractive discounts and special activities. The fair will be animated by an artistic program and readings on stage until 22h.
The initial activity of Reading Week will take place today starting at 10 am in the Children's City, as part of Rest to the Step and as part of the Recreational Street. There will be an editorial fair for children's books with the participation of publishers Ready Callisto, Wild Book and UNR Editora, as well as bookstores specializing in children's literature Chicho and Babel, Books of the Submarine and Veo Leo.
On Tuesday 23 to 17 hours, in the library Estrada (Servando Bayo 799), will be held the playful reading workshop "The mesita de luz", aimed at children from 5 to 12 years and coordinated by Lidia García. Participants can bring their favorite book for sharing or shared reading.
On Wednesday, April 24th and Thursday, April 25th, from 10 am, in the library Alberdi (Zelaya 2089), will be held the conference "Reading offices are exercised", a proposal that invites you to travel and to experiment some of the trades that are part of the world of reading.
"Lector se busca", a celebration of the day of the book with an invitation to read, will be another Wednesday activity at the Parque España Cultural Center at 18:30. Silvia Paglieta will give a discussion workshop on the promotion and mediation of reading with the group of volunteers reading Leo with you.
On Friday 26 to 17 years and Saturday 27 from 10 am, a workshop will be held at the Estrada Library. It will feature an approach to drawing practices and self-published editing by Romina Carrara, editor and editor of the publishing house Minusculario.
