Russian investigators prioritized the trail of several pilot errors to explain the emergency landing and the fire. "The first error of the pilots was to take off despite the storm, and then when the situation was complicated but far from catastrophic, they landed instead of burning fuel", explained the Kommersant newspaper, citing a strong next to the investigation.

The Superjet-100 was the first civil aircraft designed in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Proud of pride at its launch in 2011, it has since been criticized and has been very little accepted outside the Russian market.
