A Palestinian terrorist has been convicted of murdering an Israeli soldier with a block of granite

"The Judea Military Court (Southern West Bank) Sentenced Terrorist Islam Yusef Abu Hamid for the Murder of the Soldier Ronen Lubarsky", said the military spokesman.

The soldier, who was 20 years old, died two days later for the injuries he received.

Palestinian sources said that the incident occurred in the Palestinian "refugee camp" of Al Amari, near Ramallah. Fifteen thousand Palestinians live in this city, which is often the scene of clashes between Israeli and Palestinian security forces.

The perpetrator has been convicted, but the sentence has not been announced yet.

The Israeli Defense Forces have already demolished the terrorist house in Ramallah on December 15.
