A police officer shot dead a woman after shouting that she was pregnant

A woman was killed in Texas by a police officer who shot her five times, even though she had shouted that she was pregnant.

In social networks, a video was broadcast in which the 44-year-old woman was observed during an attempt to arrest Brixton apartments in Baytown on Monday night.

According to the site Daily mail, the woman was identified as Pamela Turner and we learned that he was taking medicine against schizophrenia.

Steve Dorris, Baytown Police Lieutenant, said that an officer – with 11 years of experience – was patrolling the area and opened fire on Turner after taking his stun gun and using it against him.

The officer had already dealt with Turner and knew that he had a warrant arrest against him. According to the records, the woman was charged with one count of badault causing bodily harm and two counts of criminal damage. As well She was arrested on April 25 for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

In the video circulating in the networks, we hear that Turner says "in reality, you are harbading me … in fact, I'm going home." Subsequently, the woman on the ground appears to have approached the officer and told her, "I am pregnant," and the officer fired five times, causing her death.

Antoinette, Pamela's sister, spoke to KPRC and said the woman had two children in her twenties and three grandchildren. It was she who revealed that Turner was taking medication for schizophrenia.

He also stated that the officer who had murdered his sister was Turner's neighbor in the apartment complex and that Pamela was complaining of harbading her.

What he could not confirm, is if Pamela was pregnant, while the police are waiting for the results of the autopsy.

"The agent made contact with the woman and tried to arrest her, which led to a fight that forced the agent to deploy his taser against the woman. It seems that when the officer was trying to handcuff the woman, she could control the taser and use it against the agent, which forced him to use his weapon and shoot several times against it ".
