A small plane crashed into a house and seven people died | Chronic

Seven people died and three others were injured when a plane crashed in a house in Junín district, in the Colombian town of Popayán, in the south-west of that country. The authorities are investigating the causes of the incident.

The incident was recorded around 2 pm last Sunday, when the aircraft, in which seven pbadengers and two crew members were traveling, collided with the vessel and fell. A few minutes earlier, he had taken off from Guillermo León Valencia de Popayán airport to go to the municipality of López de Micay, also located in the department of Cauca.

According to some witnesses, the pilot appears to have lost control and crashed into a house. Seven of the occupants died and two were seriously injured. The third injured is a baby who lives in the area where the accident occurred and who was transferred to a nearby health center.

At the time of the rescue, the authorities and witnesses experienced moments of tension as firefighters struggled to control a fuel leak from the aircraft in order to be able to carry the pilot's and co-pilot's bodies stuck in the aircraft. the cabin.
