A strong earthquake rocked Chile this Friday evening – Shift Night

For the National Seismological Center of Chile, the phenomenon does not meet the conditions necessary to generate a tsunami on the coasts of the country.

The entity also pointed out that this had happened in the Coquimbo region, with the epicenter 54 kilometers west of the municipality of Los Vilos.

Inpres, for his part, pointed to the epicenter 288 kilometers west of San Juan; 329 kilometers north-west of Mendoza; and 108 kilometers south of Coquimbo. It also recorded a depth of 46 kilometers.
