A supposed meteorite falls in Venezuela and the networks explode with comments on the Maduro regime

Exhausted by political events since the beginning of the year, Venezuelans quickly took advantage of social networks disbelief for the star phenomenonand the #meteorito tag has moved to the top positions.

Venezuela is going through an unprecedented political crisis. Fifty countries recognize the speaker of the opposition parliament, Juan Guaidó, acting president of the country, against President Nicolás Maduro, whose second term began in January is considered illegitimate. He did not miss comparisons with a missile, before the possibility not excluded by the United States to carry out a military intervention.

"0. Meteorite 1. Cessation of the usurpation 2. Transitional government 3. Free elections," tweeted @Gbastidas, evoking the chorus that Guaidó repeats as a roadmap to overthrow Maduro of power.

For a while, the meteorite even had his Twitter account. "Arrival in Venezuela, what plan is there today?", Tweeted @ meteorite1. But he could not clarify the question of whether he had succeeded because the account had been suspended in a few hours.

For its part, Rafael Lacava, governor of the state of Carabobo, made a satirical statement on the reports of the so-called "meteorite" in that state. The politician has released a video in which he "shows the remains" of the celestial object.
