A 32-year-old man died today after being shot in the head while fighting with a group of merchants after stealing a store in the Alto Alberdi neighborhood.

Initially, it had been speculated that the incident had occurred in the context of a lynching, but according to local police sources, the thief was struck when he bumped into the head against a window.
