A thief is signed after stealing a cell phone in a church

A carefree person took advantage of the concentration of a woman who prayed in a church and stole the cell phone that she kept in her wallet. Until now, another robbery among the many who worry these days in Guayaquil, the capital of Ecuador. The curious thing happened later, when the images of the security cameras of the parish were broadcast.

In the images, taken by the internal monitoring system of the parish San Antonio de Claret, you can see how the thief removes a cell phone from inside the bag of one of the parishioners. Immediately, he goes to the exit and, before reaching the outside, stops, plunges his hands into the holy water and crosses.

"I only confirm that what happened this morning is true, there is security everywhere, including in the churches, we have the ability to register them and I'm sure they steal less for that." said Father Enrique Escribano, parish priest. from the church where the flight was recorded, to the newspaper El Comercio de Ecuador.
