Criminal complaint for death
After death, this Saturday the Chilean Senator Guido Girardi announced that he would file a criminal complaint against those responsible for the deadly tiger attack.
“We are going to file a criminal complaint so that these events do not go unpunished, one person has died,” Girardi told reporters. “It is not the first time. There are people who have lost part of their body and animals who have died or suffered damage through negligence, ”he added.
The senator is the author of a bill which seeks to ban zoos to be considered an animal prison, an initiative pending in Congress. The way forward is that the project will include “criminal penalties and strict liability” for lack of security and events like the one that happened on Friday.
The senator called these ridings “sadomasochistic, pathological and sick places where children are taught to take advantage of the suffering of another living being “and insisted on the need to eliminate them and transform them into places of rehabilitation and conservation of animals.
