The natural phenomenon struck the Canadian city of Barrie, in the province of Ontario, on Thursday, causing property damage and injuries to at least eight people.

A Reddit user posted on Friday a video recorded by his Tesla X car, which was left in the center of a tornado that passed through the Canadian city of Barrie (province of Ontario) and recorded inside the natural phenomenon thanks to the special equipment of the vehicle. .

“I couldn’t find a single part of the body that wasn’t scratched. But compared to the other cars around it, it went well,” commented the car owner.

The Tesla X is equipped with a special mode called “Sentry Mode”, which detects movement in the environment using the autopilot camera set.

As a result of the tornado, recorded last Thursday, eight people were hospitalized with injuries and up to 25 buildings sustained extensive damage, leaving two or three of them completely destroyed, local media reported.
