At least 5 people died inside a wagon, 3 others in a white vehicle and as many in a third car, detailed the secretariat.
The other deceased is believed to be the driver of the truck, according to local media, although the authority’s statement does not specify this information.
An injured person was taken to a hospital in Tepic, the capital of Nayarit, the state agency added.
