A construction worker suffered a terrible accident and an iron bar was embedded in his skull, crossing it from side to side.
Sanjay Bahe, a 21-year-old construction worker, miraculously survived after a terrible accident.
The young man fell into a well while he was performing repair work in India. But the impact of the fall was not his biggest problem: when he was out of the well, they were horrified to see that a metal bar had completely pierced the hole. Head.
He was taken to B.J. hospital. They explained that the iron rod had pbaded from the right temporal region of his brain to the left frontal region.
Upon arrival at the hospital, Sanjay's blood pressure dropped sharply. A team of doctors led by Dr. Pramod Giri then began an hour-and-a-half operation to try to remove the bar from his Head.
Sanjay had to be revived in the operating room with blood and blood products and was taken away for a new surgery at Neuron Hospital.
Miraculously, the stem was safely removed without bleeding or injury nearby.
Dr. Giri stated that the stem was a few millimeters from the main venous sinus. "Giving the patient anesthesia in such cases is difficult. We made the right choice by placing the intubation so that the vital channels remain in the brain during the operation."
The risk of the operation itself was huge, but the doctor did everything to save his life:
"I practiced the operation with caution so as not to damage the surrounding structures.A complication that can occur in such cases is to cause meningitis in the patient.Lucky, it evolves well after surgery and we also take care of us to prevent meningitis. "
