The boy had climbed onto the balcony of his house and had gone outside, looking down the street, clinging to the railing, but with his little body hanging in the air while screaming in fear.

During his impromptu rescue operation, Vargas Fernández first transported a Mercedes pickup truck under the balcony on which he climbed to get as close as possible to the child and that 's when Precise that he could not resist anymore and fell.

The young Argentinian saw him and had enough reflexes and speed to get out of the truck and jump to stop the baby. Vargas touched the ground and cushioned his own body with the baby's free fall, which did not hit the sidewalk. According to police, the boy was left alone for a while when he had committed the mischief of getting on the balcony rail.

Vargas Fernández, born in Argentina, has been living in Italy for 12 years, studying computer science at night while working as a car wash employee during the day.
